must have an Energy Assessment carried out and supply a hard copy of the EPC to
the successful purchaser before contracts are exchanged.
Energy Performance of Buildings Regulations 2007 requires all properties
for sale or rent to have an Energy Assessment carried out.
EPCs are also now required when first new tenant moves into a rented
property.
